Tanshanling town
Tanshanling Town, belonging to Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County, Wuwei City, Gansu Province, is located in the west of Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County, adjacent to Shimen town in the East, saishi town in the southeast, Jiading town of Huzhu County in Qinghai Province across Datong River in the south, Tiantang town in the west, Dachaigou town and zhuaxixiulong town in the north. The administrative area is 356.5 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Chai Shan Ling town was 12937.
Tanshanling town is named for its rich coal production and is known as Suori in Tibetan. In Yuan Dynasty, Tanshanling town belonged to Zhuanglang County. In May 1983, it was Jinsha Township and ayangou Township, belonging to Moke district. In October 1985, Jinsha Township and ayangou Township were merged into Tanshanling town. History of construction
In Yuan Dynasty, Tanshanling town belonged to Zhuanglang County.
In the Ming Dynasty, Zhuanglang County was changed into Zhuanglang Wei.
In 1753, Zhuanglang tea was managed by Ma Tongzhi.
In the first year of the Republic of China (after 1912), it was under the jurisdiction of Pingfan county.
In the third year of the Republic of China (1914), it belonged to Zhuanglang tea and Ma Lipan Tongzhi.
In 1928, it belonged to Gucheng township of Yongdeng County.
In May 1950, it belongs to the sixth township of Tianzhu autonomous region.
In December 1956, it was named Moke township of Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County.
In December 1958, it was the Jinsha brigade and the ayangou ranch of Gucheng commune.
In October 1968, it was called Hongguang commune.
In August 1971, it was established as zhucha commune and ayangou pasture.
In May 1983, it was Jinsha Township and ayangou Township, belonging to Moke district.
In October 1985, Jinsha Township and ayangou Township were merged into Tanshanling town.

topographic features
Tanshanling town is high in the north and low in the south. The terrain is hilly and semi mountainous. The main mountains are baifangneng, wutailing and Daling. Baifanglong peak, the highest peak in the territory, is located on the top of Maya snow mountain at the northernmost end of the town, with an altitude of 4446 meters; Jinsha gorge, the lowest point, is located on the North Bank of Datong River at the southern end of the territory, with an altitude of 2201 meters.

Tanshanling town is a temperate continental arid and semi-arid climate. It has the characteristics of less illumination time, short growth period and less precipitation. The annual average temperature is 2.5 ℃; the relative frost free period is 150 days; the annual average precipitation is about 480 mm, and the precipitation is mainly concentrated from July to September, accounting for about 60% of the annual precipitation.

There are ayangou River and guanduo River in Tanshanling Town, which flow into Datong River from north to south. The river is about 24 kilometers long, belonging to the tributary of Datong River of Yellow River system.

The main natural disasters in Tanshanling town are drought, hail and landslide. The most serious hail disaster occurred on August 19, 2001. Nine villages in Tanshanling town suffered from severe hail disaster. The affected area of crops is 3000 mu, the area of no harvest is 2800 mu, and more than 800 livestock (animals) are dead.
