Fufang Town, belonging to Liangzhou District, Wuwei City, Gansu Province, is located in the east of Liangzhou District, bordering on Tengger Desert in the East, Qingyuan town and Gaoba town in the south, Jinyang town in the West and Daliu town in the north. The area is 77 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence households was 28452.
The town got its name because of the ancient pavilion. In July 1983, the township of distribution was set up. In August 2002, the government issued a policy to remove villages and build towns. As of June 2020, the town has jurisdiction over 4 communities and 18 administrative villages. The Township People's government is stationed in the village.
In 2018, there was one industrial enterprise and nine comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
From the Western Han Dynasty to the "five cool" period of the Sixteen States, the territory belonged to guzang County, Wuwei County.
From the Northern Wei Dynasty to the early Sui Dynasty, it belonged to Linzhong County of Wuwei County. During the Tang and Song Dynasties, it returned to guzang county.
Yuan, Yongchang Road is West Liangzhou.
During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was successively returned to liangzhouwei county and Wuwei County.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to Daliu township of Wuwei County.
After September 1949, it belonged to Daliu district.
In July 1952, it belongs to the third district (Hongya) and the fourth district (Baita).
In January 1956, it was Daliu township.
In October 1958, it became Daliu commune.
In 1962, the distribution commune was established.
In July 1983, the township of distribution was set up.
In January, 1986, Shuangshu and Xiangshan were merged into Daliu township.
In November 1991, it was divided into Shuangshu, Fangfa and Daliu townships.
In August 2002, the government issued a policy to remove villages and build towns.
In July 2004, Shuangshu township was merged into Fufang town.
