Caochuanpu town
Cao Chuan Town, a county of Qingshui County, Tianshui, Gansu, is located in the south of Qingshui County, East Longdong Town, south of Maiji District, Yongqing, west of Yongqing, and 117.32 square kilometers in the north of the country. The registered residence population is 12357.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), some villages in the territory were under the jurisdiction of SHETANG Town, Tianshui county. In 1950, it was classified as Qingshui. In November 1955, Caochuan district was restored. In 1961, it was divided into Caochuan and Xingping communes. In 1965, it was merged into Caochuan commune. In January 1983, it was changed to caochuanpu township. In March 2017, the township was set up. As of June 2020, caochuanpu town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 9 administrative villages.
In 2018, caochuanpu town has a comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution

Caochuanpu town is located in the Loess Liang'an gully region, which is a part of the Loess Plateau in western Gansu. Taking Panlong mountain in the south of the middle reaches of Niutou River as a branch, the terrain is generally high in the north and low in the south. The terrain belongs to the middle and low Liang'an gully region. The highest peak in caochuanpu town is mo'erdongshanliang, with an altitude of 2034 meters; the lowest point is at nansihekou, with an altitude of 1200 meters.
