Chengzitan street, belonging to Pulandian District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, is located in the east of Pulandian District, bordering Mingyang street of Zhuanghe city with Biliuhe River in the East, facing Changhai County with Yellow Sea in the south, Pikou street in the west, Xingtai street and Mopan street in the north, with a total area of 249.7 square kilometers.
In October 1958, Chengzitan commune was established. In October 1983, it was changed to the town of Zitan. In November 2010, Chengzitan street was established. At the end of 2011, the total population of Chengzitan sub district was 70400, including 65200 permanent urban residents, with an urbanization rate of 92.6%. As of June 2020, Chengzitan street has jurisdiction over 5 communities and 6 administrative villages, and its sub district office is located at No. 11, Chengzhong Road, chunman community.
In 2011, the total revenue of Chengzitan street was 85 million yuan, an increase of 33% over the previous year. Among them, the local fiscal revenue was 60 million yuan, an increase of 30% over the previous year. Name and origin
In 1422, in order to defend against Japanese invaders, the imperial court built an earthen city here (today's Chengzitan Street) and sent soldiers to guard it. The castle was named "Guifu fort". Because most of the people settled in Jiaodong, they used to call "Guifu fort" as "chengzituan". Later, "Tuan" was changed to "Tan", which was called "Chengzitan".
