Yongbi town
Yongbi town is under the jurisdiction of Xiao county. It is located in the north of Anhui Province, adjacent to HUANGZANGYU, a national scenic spot of AAAA level in the East, Baitu town and Zhuangli Township in the East, Huaibei City in the south, Dingli town in the West and Longcheng town in the north.
Yongyu town is a thousand year old town in Anhui Province. According to the research of trilobite fossils unearthed in Yongyu Town, there were creatures in Yongyu town as early as 230 million years ago.
In 2011, the total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery reached 138.88 million yuan, the total industrial output value was 103.22 million yuan, the financial revenue was 7 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 2401 yuan. In 2015, it was listed as a provincial industrial cluster professional town.
By the end of 2017, yongbi town had a permanent resident population of 23465, with an administrative area of 61 square kilometers and jurisdiction over seven administrative villages and three forest farms. There are yongbi reservoir, Neolithic sites and other attractions.
Historical evolution
There is a cymbal mountain in the southeast corner of yongbi village, which is steep around and flat at the top, so it is called "Gu". It got its name from the mountain. It was juegu town in ancient times, and later evolved into YONGGU town. The town government was stationed in YONGGU village.
According to the research of trilobite fossils unearthed in yongbi town of Xiaoxian County, there were living things here as early as 230 million years ago. Tens of thousands of years ago, it was still a vast ocean, and then after tens of thousands of years of impact of Northwest yellow sand, it gradually formed the Jianghuai plain.
During the Neolithic period, human beings lived and multiplied here. Yongyu town has unearthed various stone tools, pottery and ancient ape man relics.
Han belongs to Wu Kingdom.
It was called juegu town in Tang and Song dynasties.
In the second year of Jin Yuanguang, juegu town was promoted to YONGGU county.
In Zhiyuan (1265), it was incorporated into Xiaoxian County as the inspection department.
In 1380, the county was abandoned as a town, belonging to Xiaoxian County, Xuzhou Prefecture, Jiangsu Province. Since then, it has been a township level system. (Yongyu town government residence Yongyu village has always been the seat of township government)
After liberation, it belonged to Shuoli District, and then set up Yongyu people's commune.
In 1984, it belonged to Dingli district. In 1992, the district was withdrawn and yongbi town was set up.
In 1992, when the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, the former Yongyu town and Wuzhuang Township were merged into the present Yongyu town.

Yongbi town is located in the southeast of Xiaoxian County, 116 ° 94 ′ E and 34 ° 18 ′ n. It is adjacent to huangcangyu, a 4A national scenic spot in the East, Baitu town and Zhuangli Township, Huaibei City in the south, Dingli town in the West and Longcheng town in the north. It is 20km away from Suzhou City and 20km away from the main urban area of Xiaoxian county. The administrative area is 61 square kilometers, including 30200 mu of commonly used cultivated land.

Yongbi town is close to huangzang mountain area in the East and Zhahe plain in the West. The terrain is high in the East and low in the west, high in the north and low in the south. The ground elevation of the plain is generally 31-34 meters above sea level. There are many high mountains in Suzhou, such as Guanshan, Fengshan and naoba mountain. Among them, Guanshan is 395 meters above sea level, which is the highest point in Suzhou.
