Xiquan town
Xiquan Town, belonging to Jingtai County, Baiyin City, Gansu Province, is located in the south of Jingtai County, adjacent to Luyang town and Zhongquan town in the East, Gaolan County in the south, Zhenglu town in the west, Sitan Township in the northwest, a mountain town in the north, and an enclave in the north between a mountain town and Sitan township. The total administrative area is 588.8 square kilometers.
In 1933, Jingtai County was established and Xingquan was a district (Luyang); in 1984, Xiquan commune was changed to a township. In 2001, Xiquan township was built from township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Xi Quan town was 23850. In June 2020, Xiquan town governs 18 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Xiquan town was 7.3 million yuan, an increase of 45.6% over the previous year. In 2018, there were 10 industrial enterprises in Xiquan Town, including 4 Enterprises above Designated Size and 6 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1933, Jingtai County was founded, Xingquan is a district (Luyang).
After 1949, Xingquan became suohan Township in Luyang.
In 1952, it set up six districts, which like to collect water at the place of governance, and then build up springs by detour.
In 1955, the six districts were changed into Xingquan District, and in October of the same year, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged.
In 1958, it was named Xiquan commune.
In 1961, Da'an established another commune.
In 1965, Da'an commune and Xiji commune were merged into Xiquan commune.
In 1980, it was separated from Xiquan commune and restored to Da'an commune.
In 1984, Xiquan commune was transformed into a township.
In 2001, the township was removed and the town was built.
In December 2004, Da'an township was merged into Xiquan town.
The former Da'an township is located in the southwest of Jingtai County, in the mountainous area, 30 kilometers away from the county. Da'an commune was established in 1961, and the township was changed in 1983. In 1996, it covers an area of 371 square kilometers and has a population of 5000. It governs six administrative villages, namely Da'an, Zhongxin, fulushui, Huajian, santaijing and malianshui.

In June 2020, Xiquan town governs 18 administrative villages: dashuibi village, xijishui village, Xingquan village, Santang village, Beitan village, Yuliang village, Xinzhuang village, Xinmin village, Shangba village, Nantan village, Chenzhuang village, Da'an village, Fulu village, Malian village, Zhongxin village, santaijing village, Huajian village and Min'an Village. The town people's government is stationed in Xingquan village.
