Xintianbao Hui Township, belonging to Huining County, Baiyin City, Gansu Province, is located in the south of Huining County, adjacent to zhaijiasuo Township in the East, houjiachuan Township in the south, Zhongchuan Township in the West and Huishi town in the north, with a total administrative area of 218 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty, after building baozi on the nearby mountain, it was called xintianbao; in August 1983, it was changed into xintianbao Hui village. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Xintian Hui Hui Township was 19706. In June 2020, xintianbao Hui village governs 13 administrative villages.

History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty, when a fort was built on a nearby mountain, it was called xintianbao.
On August 12, 1949, it was divided into two districts at that time.
In 1952, two districts were set up and a new Hui Autonomous Region was established.
In 1958, it was changed into a new commune.
In May 1981, it was changed into a new Hui commune.
In August 1983, it was changed into xintianbao Hui nationality township.
