Liuchuan town
Liuchuan Town, subordinate to Jingyuan County, Baiyin City, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Jingyuan County, adjacent to mitan and Santan townships in the East, Beiwan town in the south, Wangxian Township in Baiyin District in the West and Zhongquan Township in Jingtai County in the north, with a total administrative area of 412.5 square kilometers.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to mitan Township Office; in 1983, it was changed to Liuchuan township. In August 2016, Liuchuan township was removed from the township and built into a town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Liu Chuan town was 34759. In June 2020, 10 administrative villages will be under the jurisdiction of Liuchuan town.
In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in Liuchuan town was 4345 yuan. In 2018, there were 64 industrial enterprises in Liuchuan Town, including 3 Enterprises above Designated Size and 90 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to mitan Township Office.
After 1949, it was under the jurisdiction of Gucheng, Huangya and other seven townships.
In 1958, it was under the jurisdiction of mitan commune.
In 1961, it was under the jurisdiction of Wangxian commune in Baiyin City.
In 1964, Liuchuan commune was established, belonging to mitan District of Jingyuan County.
In 1968, it was incorporated into mitan commune.
In 1972, it was transferred from mitan commune to Liuchuan commune.
In 1983, it was changed to Liuchuan township.
In August 2016, Liuchuan township was removed from the township and built into a town.

By the end of 2011, Liuchuan town had 10 administrative villages: Zhangtan, laiyao, Yingzui, nanshanwei, fanyao, Jinchuan, Luozhuang, Zhaotang, Nanchuan, laobawan, and 64 villager groups.
In June 2020, Liuchuan town governs 10 administrative villages: Nanchuan village, Yingzui village, laiyao village, Zhangtan village, laobawan village, Jinchuan village, Luozhuang village, Zhaotang village, nanshanwei village and fanyao village. The town people's government is stationed in Zhaotang village.

Heishishan, the highest peak in the territory, is located in Zhangtan village, with an altitude of 1740 meters; longfengwan, the lowest point, is located in Wushe, Nanchuan village, with an altitude of 1436 meters.
