In November 1977, Gongren new village street was established.

After September 2001, it was renamed Jinchuan road street.

In July 2006, jinyangli, jinhuili and Jinguli communities of Xinhua Road and jinzhili community of Guangzhou road were assigned to Jinchuan road street, jinzhili and jinguili communities of Jinchuan road were assigned to Beijing Road Street, and then merged into Jinshui Li, jinyangli and jinzhili communities.
