Dongxiachang Village
Dongxiachang township is located in the southwest of Zhijiang Dong Autonomous County, 25 kilometers away from the county seat. It is connected with nanmuping Township and lengshuixi Township in the East, Biyong town in the south, lixikou Township in the west, yanggongmiao Township and mayantang Township in the north. The residence of the township government has been a place for rural fair trade since ancient times. Because the polder was under the original natural cave (later destroyed), it was named dongxiachang. After the establishment of the commune in 1961, it was named "dongxiachang people's commune". In 1981, it was renamed dongxiachang Township People's government.
Administration and population
The township governs 10 administrative villages and 114 villager groups. 6984 (2017). It is composed of Dong, Miao and Han nationalities, and Dong has the largest population.
Area
The area is 62.33 square kilometers. At the end of 2007, there were 9879 mu of paddy fields, including 6040 mu of drought and flood, 1010 mu of dry soil, 42300 mu of forest land, and 12500 mu of cutting area. It covers 63500 mu of forest, 2182 mu of orchard, including 1980 mu of citrus, 30000 mu of barren mountain grassland, 1800 mu of water surface, 1.01 mu of paddy field per capita, and 845 yuan of net income per capita.
Geology and grain
Township government resident elevation of about 550 meters, the territory of higher terrain, and mostly limestone rock. As a result of long-term rain erosion, many natural caves have been formed, especially huaimu cave, Guyi cave and Luoma cave in the south of the county. Before liberation, because of the high mountains, few forests, low water level, half red caking soil, poor water conservation, serious drought, grain yield of 600 Jin per mu. After liberation, wengbeichong small (1) reservoir and 6 small (2) reservoirs were successively built, with a total capacity of 2.49 million cubic meters. The five villages in the township belong to the south line irrigation area of lixikou reservoir, with 13.8 km long channels. In 1980, the total irrigation area was more than 3500 mu. Due to the long-term disrepair of channels, the irrigation area decreased to 1900 mu in 2007. In 2007, the total grain output was 4500 tons, and the rice yield per mu was 325 kg.

At the end of 2007, there were 3 township enterprises including yanlinjiang power station, Maoping citrus farm and xiluochong citrus farm, and 336 individual businesses. There are 10 cars and 35 agricultural vehicles. The total transportation output value is 800000 yuan.
traffic
There are 32 highways in the township, with a total length of about 89 kilometers. The county-level highway from Zhijiang to Biyong has a total length of 44 kilometers, and the pavement has been hardened with cement. Weng Rongxi village passes through six villages, namely nanmuchong, dongxiachang, Hongqi, tiantangping and yanbantian, with a total length of 14 km. There are 3 village level highways with a mileage of 15 km. There are 28 group highways with a mileage of about 60 km. All the 10 administrative villages are connected with roads and 8 villages are connected with buses, so the traffic is very convenient.
Education and health
At present, there is a junior middle school with 26 teaching staff and 314 students; a central primary school with 27 teaching staff and 490 students; 7 village primary schools with 15 teaching staff and 235 students; a township health center with 7 inpatient departments, outpatient departments and beds and 5 medical staff; 13 village health centers and 13 barefoot doctors.
