Historical evolution

Honghe belongs to the ancient Li area. Up to now, there are traces of the ancient Wu and Yue battlefields. From the song, yuan to the revolution of 1911, the north and central part of the town belonged to lingsu Township in Xincheng area, the East and south to Changshui Township in Wangdian area, and the west to Puyuan town. From the revolution of 1911 to the liberation, it was once a village of Tangnan Township, Guojie Township, Taishi Township and Puyuan township.
