Yangqiaopan town belongs to Jingbian County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the east of Jingbian County, adjacent to tawan town of Hengshan District in the East, Longzhou Township in the south, zhangjiapan town in the West and haizetan Township in the north. The total area is 364.30 square kilometers.

Historical evolution
Yangqiaopan town is a provincial key town, a municipal Ping'an Township, and an advanced collective in the sixth census.
During the reign of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1862-1874), it got its name from the fact that the surname Yang lived near the riverside bridge.
The Ming and Qing Dynasties belonged to longzhoubao.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belongs to Longzhou district.
In 1944, it was directly under the water conservancy township.
