Xinhua Township, belonging to Beilin District, Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the middle and west of Beilin District. It is adjacent to Beilin street in the East, Dongfu Township in the northeast, Baoshan town in the south, taipingchuan town in the west, and Weixing town and Haifeng town of Wangkui County across Hulan River in the north. In 2018, the area of Xinhua township was 164.7 square kilometers, and the registered residence population was 30547.

Historical evolution
During the puppet Manchu period, it belonged to Cai Jiabao.
In 1939, Caijia village was changed.
In July 1946, Caijia district was established.
In 1951, it was renamed the Fifth District.
In April 1956, there were three townships, Xinhua, Caijia and Taiping.
In August 1958, the three townships were merged into Xinhua commune.
In April 1961, it was divided into Xinhua commune and Taiping commune.
In March 1984, the Xinhua commune was transformed into a township.
