Dangcha town belongs to Hengshan District, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the east of Hengshan District, bordering Yuhe town of Yuyang District and long town of Mizhi County in the East, Wuzhen town in the south, Xiangshui town and Baijie town in the west, Wuding River in the north and Yuhe town of Yuyang District. The maximum distance between East and West is 29 km, and the maximum distance between North and south is 15.8 km. The total area is 180 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, dangcha town has 15 administrative villages. By the end of 2018, 31200 people registered residence in the Party branch. Historical evolution
It got its name from the fact that Dangxiang people had lived in this branch of the river for a long time in history.

The Qing Dynasty belonged to Huaiyuan County, Yulin Prefecture.
In 1914, Huaiyuan County was renamed Hengshan County, belonging to Xiangshuibao.
