Qizi town
Qizi town is located in the southwest of Xiangxiang City, Xiangtan City, Hunan Province. In 1986, it was a district level town. In 1991, it was under the jurisdiction of Gushui district. In 1995, the whole city withdrew the district and merged the township. The former Qizi town and Gushui Township merged into a new Qizi town. 138.9 square kilometers (2017), 33 villages, 4 neighborhood committees and 52314 people (2017). The total cultivated area is 27130 mu, including 20585.5 mu of paddy field. The town has more than 90000 mu of mountainous areas and more than 50000 mu of usable water.

Qizi town is located in the middle of Hunan Province, southwest of Xiangtan and Xiangxiang City, and west of Loudi City. It is the junction of 3 + 5 Urban Agglomeration in Hunan Province.
