Lesuhe town
Le (L è) Suhe town belongs to Lueyang County, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the southwest of Lueyang County, on the West Bank of Jialing. It borders BAIQUESI town in the East, Juting town in Ningqiang County in the south, Guo town and Kang County in Gansu Province in the west, and BAIQUESI town in the north. The maximum distance between East and West is 18.0 km, and the maximum distance between North and south is 19.8 km, with a total area of 141 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, lesuhe town has 12 administrative villages. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of 7837 people in Le Su He town. Historical evolution
It is named after the lesu river.
From 1935 to 1949, it was under the jurisdiction of qingbaishi township.
In 1949, shuangjiya township was set up, belonging to Chengguan District.
In 1953, it was divided into eight districts.
In 1956, it was changed into Baique Temple District.
In 1958, Baique Temple commune was established, and heyeba Township under its jurisdiction was classified as Chengguan commune.
In 1960, it moved to the mouth of the river.
In 1961, it was changed into lesuhe district.
In October 1968, it was renamed lesuhe District Revolutionary Committee.
In 1981, lesuhe District Office was restored.
In 1984, lesuhe District governed 6 townships (BAIQUESI, shijiayuan, washegou, shuangjiya, shiwengzi and zhongbazi townships), 46 villages and 249 communities.
In May 1996, lesuhe district was abolished and three townships including shuangjiya, washegou and shiwengzi were merged to establish lesuhe town.
