Tailing Township
Tailing township is located in the northwest of Yongxin County, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, at the foot of Qiushan, the highest peak of the county. It connects Litian town in the south, Longtian town in the west, and Longmen town in the East and North. It is 21 kilometers away from the county and 2 kilometers away from the interchange of Jilian expressway, with a total area of 45.31 square kilometers. There are 7 administrative villages, 46 village groups, 10123 permanent residents (2017), 793 hectares of arable land, 9255 tons of grain output. Tailing township is rich in forest and mineral natural data, with a forest coverage rate of more than 70%. There is abundant granite at the foot of Qiushan mountain. Tailing is known as the "hometown of melons and fruits", and its main characteristic products are watermelon, lotus plum, peanut, etc The seeds and watermelons are famous far and near, and are exported to Hunan, Guangdong and other places.
Tailing vigorously develops four characteristic agricultural industry sub bases, namely changyanjinggang honey pomelo, bushangjinggang honey pomelo, heshanbaihe, nanwenqiling upper thousand mu Camellia oleifera seedlings, as well as nanwencun hundred mu beef cattle breeding base and Liuhe 160 Mu sericulture base. Evolution of organizational system
On the eve of liberation, tailing Township belonged to Helu township. In the early days of liberation, it belonged to tailing township. During the period of cooperation, it was divided into nine primary communes. In 1956, it was transformed into senior commune respectively. In 1958, it was divided into tailing people's commune. In 1960, it was merged into Longmen commune. In 1972, it was divided into tailing commune. In 1983, it was changed into tailing township.

Liuhe Village

geographical environment
Tailing township is located in the northwest of Yongxin County, connecting with Litian town in the south, Longtian Township in the west, and Longmen town in the East and North. Most of the territory is hilly, high in the northwest and low in the southeast. The total area of the township is 45.31 square kilometers. The canal water from Heshan reservoir comes from the streams of Qiushan mountain, winding like a dragon and interwoven like a net, which encircles the whole territory. The township government is located in nanwen village, 21 kilometers away from the county seat.
Tailing has beautiful scenery and attractive scenery. Qiushan, the best scenic mountain, is located in the northern part of the tailing mountain, with an altitude of 1391.3 meters. It is the highest peak in Yongxin County. It is known as "little Nanyue". Qiushan is a precipitous mountain with cliffs and rocks at the top of the peak.
