Fengtang town
Fengtang town belongs to Lingshan County, Qinzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is located in the northeast of Lingshan County, 19 kilometers away from the county. It is adjacent to Heng County in the northwest and Lingcheng Town, Fozi Town, Pingshan Town and Shitang town in the southeast. It is the tea production base of Lingshan County.
Fengtang town has a total area of 126.64 square kilometers. By the end of 2013, it had 1 community and 18 administrative villages with a total population of 46348 (2017). In 2013, the town achieved a total agricultural output value of 260 million yuan and a total industrial output value of 150 million yuan.
Fengtang town's main terrain is high hills, belonging to the subtropical monsoon climate, mild climate, abundant rainfall, the main agricultural products are litchi, longan, persimmon, chestnut, tea, cassava and so on.
Historical evolution
In 1888, Fengtang town belongs to fengluolian. in 1927, the League training system was abolished and the county was divided into districts and townships. Fengtang belonged to the second district (pingshanwei). in 1935, Baojia was established after the area was abandoned and the township was merged. In 1941, Fengtang county was divided into four districts. In 1948, the three townships of Qingliang, Baoliang and Weiling were merged into Fengtang township. In December 1949, the county was divided into districts and special zones, and Fengtang township was the second district. In July 1952, the county was divided into 15 districts and 203 townships (towns). Fengtang Township belongs to the 13th district (fengtangwei). In September 1958, Fengtang people's commune was established. On October 16, 1958, Fengtang people's commune was merged into Sanhai people's commune. On April 1, 1959, Fengtang people's commune was re established. On June 5, 1961, eight districts were set up in the county, and Fengtang people's commune was attached to the urban area. In January 1963, Fengtang people's commune was established by the merger of Fengtang commune and Wupu commune, which is located in fengtangwei. In September 1984, the people's commune was abolished, the township political power system was restored, and Fengtang township was established. In January 1994, Fengtang township was renamed Fengtang town.

Hydrology
The main river in Fengtang town is Xiuzhu River, which originates from Dawang mountain, southwest of liuhuaihua Shiling in Fozi Town, with a total drop of 45 meters and annual runoff of 138 million cubic meters. It flows through the town for 27 kilometers, enters luofengwei in Hengxian County and joins Yujiang river. Other rivers include Liuyan River and Liuwu river.

In 1916, Fengtang set up a post agency. Fengtang is the route point from Lingshan to Hengzhou. In 1950, Fengtang post office was established, and post and Telecommunications extended to rural areas. After liberation, primary schools were set up in all administrative villages of Fengtang Town, and Fengtang No.9 junior middle school was established, which was later changed into Fengtang middle school (senior high school). During the "Cultural Revolution", all the brigades run junior high schools (that is, junior high schools run by the brigades), and some brigades run senior high schools (in 1983, all junior and senior high schools at the village level were closed).
