Qiaozhen Township belongs to Ganquan County, Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province. Located in the northwest of Ganquan County, it is adjacent to Xiasiwan town in the East, Zhangjiawan Town in Fuxian County in the south, Yongning Town in Zhidan County in the West and zhuanyaowan town in Ansai District in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 25.2 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 21.6 km, with a total area of 363.06 square kilometers.
Qiaozhen township has the national cultural protection unit Qin Zhidao site.
As of June 2020, Qiaozhen has jurisdiction over eight administrative villages. As of 2018, the registered residence population in Qiao town was 6230. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Qiaozhen township was 44.06 million yuan, and the total sales of social commodities was 4.7 million yuan.
Historical evolution
Located on the North Bank of Luohe River, it was originally named qiaofuyu, and later gradually became a town, named Qiaozhen.
Before 1934, it belonged to Ansai County.
In 1935, yanjiawan village was directly under the Soviet government of Shaanxi Gansu border.
In 1936, it was a district of Ganluo county.
In 1938, it was a district of Ganquan County.
In 1958, Qiaozhen Township commune was established, with four production teams under its jurisdiction.

Qiaozhen township is located in the hilly and gully region of the Loess Plateau in Northern Shaanxi. Yan'an section of Qin Zhidao site
Qin Zhidao is a military passage with a length of more than 700 kilometers from north to south, starting from Linguang palace in Shaanxi Province in the south to Jiuyuan County in Baotou City in Inner Mongolia. Qin Zhidao is the shortest road from Xianyang to Yinshan Mountain in the north. It is generally straight from north to south, so it is called "Zhidao" "Tao".
Qinzhi road is more than 200 years earlier than the famous Roman road in the West. It is recognized as the first highway in the world and enjoys the reputation of the originator of the world highway. At present, qinzhidao has been registered as a world cultural heritage site and listed as a large site protection project by the state. The construction technology is advanced, especially the characteristics of "cutting the mountain and blocking the valley, opening the lane every mountain, meeting the stone cutting, crossing the river to build the bridge, meeting the ditch to fill and level" are embodied in fangjiahe village, Qiaozhen town. It is known as Qin Zhidao Museum. Shengma bridge in the west of Fangjia river is the only bridge pier site of Qin Zhidao crossing Luohe River.
The remaining piers of the approach bridge are 82 meters wide, 44 meters wide at the top, 72 meters high and 56 meters long. There are obvious rammed earth layers on the surface of the piers on both sides of the bridge. Qinzhi road is about 32 kilometers long in Ganquan, from Fuxian huaishuzhuang to dunliang (Fuxian, Ganquan, Zhidan)
