Donglai Town, belonging to Kailu County, Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the southeast of Kailu County, bordering Horqin district of Tongliao City in the East, Neiman banner in the west, chaolutu forest farm in Houqi in the South and Liaohe farm in the north. The area is 170.91 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 18459 people registered residence in Tung Lai town.
In 1958, it was established as the Eighth People's commune of red flag. In 1958, Donglai people's commune was established. In 1984, it was changed to Donglai town. As of June 2020, Donglai town has jurisdiction over 13 administrative villages.
By the end of 2018, there were 5 industrial enterprises in Donglai town and 53 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
