Wugu town
Wugu town belongs to Wuqi County, Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in ningsaichuan in the northeast of Wuqi County, connecting Xuecha Township in the East, Wuqi street in the south, wucangbao Township in the west, zhouwan Town, Changcheng Township and zhongshanjian town in Jingbian County of Yulin City in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 22 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 30 kilometers, with a total area of 470.30 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Wugu town has 10 administrative villages. As of 2018, the registered residence population of 13456 cities was five. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Wugu town was 56.67 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 6697 yuan.
Historical evolution
It is said that in the Song Dynasty, it was occupied by the Xixia Dynasty. Five girls divided the city and named it Wugu city. Later, they changed the name to Wugu city.
In 1942, it was three townships in the first district of Wuqi county (Fenghuang District).
In 1958, Cai Bian commune was established.
In 1984, it was changed to urban and rural areas.
