Wayaobao Street
Wayaobao street belongs to Zichang City, Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province. Located in the south of the middle of Zichang City, it is adjacent to yangjiayuan town in the East, yujiaping town in the south, Anding town in the West and Yujiawan town in the north. The maximum distance between East and West is 25.2 km, and the maximum distance between North and south is 19.8 km, with a total area of 328 square kilometers.

Historical evolution
At the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty, the castle was built on the mountain and named Wangyao castle. Later, there were many tile kilns, so it was named Wayao castle.
According to the general annals of Shaanxi written by Yongzheng of the Qing Dynasty, it was built as a Fangcheng in the Ming Dynasty, then destroyed in the early years of Tongzhi of the Qing Dynasty, and rebuilt in 1874.
In 1934, the Soviet regime in Chiyuan county was established.
In November 1935, the city of Wayaobao was set up and retreated.
In 1949, the town of Wayaopu was established.
In 1980, it was renamed Chengguan town.
In 1984, it was renamed again.
By the end of 2011, luanjiaping Township had been withdrawn and merged into Wayaopu town.
