To Xianzhen
Daoxian town is subordinate to Fuping County, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the northeast of Fuping County, bordering Sufang town of Pucheng County in the East, Liuji town in the south, Liuqu town in the west, Xiaohui town and Meiyuan town in the north. The total area is 74.41 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, there are 15 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Daoxian town. As of 2018, the number of registered residence in Xian town was 44651. In 2011, the financial revenue of Zhixian town was 1.22 million yuan, the per capita net income of farmers was 5600 yuan, and the total agricultural output value was 82 million yuan.
Historical evolution
The name comes from Linyuan village in ancient times. According to the records of Fuping County annals, "Duke Wen and other officials of Jin Dynasty went to Qin Dynasty and passed through this town to get its name."
Ming Hongwu three years (1370), set up the town Li set, belong to Xianli.
In the Qing Dynasty, they belonged to the Northeast township eight couplets, the new nine couplets, the West nine couplets and the East ten couplets.
At the beginning of the Republic of China, it was the fourth East regiment.
In 1934, it was changed into Zhixin Township, which has jurisdiction over six Baotou.
In the 26th year of the Republic of China (1937), it was incorporated into Zhihui township as the eighth Bao.
After October 1949, it was the eighth Township in LIUQU district.
In 1952, it was called Xianxiang, belonging to the fourth district.
In 1956, it was transferred to Meiyuan district.
In 1958, in order to manage the District, it belonged to Liuqu commune.
In 1961, the administrative division of the whole county was changed to Daoxian commune, belonging to LIUQU district.
In 1967, it was renamed Shengli commune.
In 1972, he returned to Xian commune.
In 1984, the separation of government and society was changed to Xianxiang.
In December 1999, the town was established.

Zhang Yian
(1887-1918)
Yang Cheng name, the word Yian, to Xian Zhen Zhuang village huaiyuanbao people. He was fond of boxing. He dropped out of school early because of poverty. Later, he entered the provincial agricultural school and Zhengyi academy, and joined the league. After the revolution of 1911, he went to study in Japan twice for his military exploits. He has successively served as the commander of the student company of the National Guard Army, the commander of the reserve battalion, and the commander of the second detachment of the right wing army of the Yasukuni army. He took part in the "battle of chasing land" in Fuping and led the famous Sanyuan uprising and the war of besieging Chen. He died on March 13, 1918. Later, he was posthumously awarded as a general of the army by the Guangzhou military government, and was buried in Yishan temple in the northern suburb of the county.
Lei Rong
From Xianzhen to Xiancun, he was the first magistrate of Fuping County in 1949. He later served as Secretary General of the CPPCC Shaanxi Provincial Committee. He died in Xi'an in 2005 at the age of 101.
