Huangcheng town
Huangcheng town is located in the northwest of Fengcheng City, where Fengcheng, Gao'an and Xinjian meet. The total area is 84.97 square kilometers, 60% of which is hilly and 40% plain. It is 40 km away from the urban area, 60 km away from Nanchang, 10 km away from Jiangxi Guangdong Expressway. Fenggao line and hot spring tourism line pass through the city. It has jurisdiction over 18 Village (neighborhood) committees, 132 natural villages and 27482 permanent residents (2017). The area of cultivated land is 49740 mu (including 45011 mu of paddy field), 39640 mu of forest land, 16000 mu of high-yield Camellia oleifera and more than 10000 mu of Gardenia jasminoides Ellis.
Huangcheng town is rich in selenium resources and has many tourist attractions. It has unique selenium rich hot springs and natural forest. There are many places of interest in Jin Dynasty, such as "Huasong Pavilion", "Tianfu Temple", "Zhenshui Tieniu" and beautiful xianguling. Huangcheng town is known as the "hometown of culture". Evolution of organizational system
In the sixth year of emperor Gaodi of the Eastern Han Dynasty (212), zhentou area is under the jurisdiction of guide township, and guide township is under the jurisdiction of Nanchang County of Huainan state.
In 265 of the first year of Taikang in Jin Dynasty, Fengshui was transferred to the west, and Fucheng was renamed Fengcheng County, which was under the jurisdiction of Fengcheng county.
In the Sui Dynasty (589), Fengcheng county was merged into Guangfeng County, which was under the jurisdiction of Guangfeng County, Fuzhou Prefecture.
In the 702 year of emperor Zhaozong's Tianyou reign in Tang Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of Wu'an County, the nantingdu Prefecture.
In Song Dynasty (960-976), song Taizu was under the jurisdiction of Fengcheng County, Longxing Prefecture.
In the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1294), Fengcheng had 50000 households. Fengcheng was promoted to Fu Zhou, which was under the jurisdiction of Longxing Prefecture.
In the ninth year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1376), guide township was under the jurisdiction of the ninth square of Fengcheng County, Nanchang Prefecture, Jiangxi Province.
In the 18th year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty, the township was changed into district and Li, and zhentou area was under the jurisdiction of Huangcheng City, guide township.
In 1927, Huangcheng Township and Damiao Township were established in zhentou area, both of which were under the jurisdiction of the ninth square.
In 1945, Huangcheng Township and Damiao Township were under the jurisdiction of the Sixth District.
In 1948, Huangcheng and Damiao were under the jurisdiction of Jianxi District.
In 1949, Huangcheng Township and Damiao Township were under the jurisdiction of the eighth district. In 1950, six townships, namely Fangcheng, Xifang, Damiao, Tangtou, zhentou and Zhushan, were established in zhentou. In 1952, Zhushan township was changed to Hutian township. In addition to the original five townships of zhentou, Luomen, Fangcheng, Xifang and Hutian, two townships of Youjia and Tancheng were added, which were under the jurisdiction of twelve districts. In 1955, seven townships of zhentou, Luomen, Fangcheng, Youjia, Xifang, Hutian and Tancheng were under the jurisdiction of Zhentou district. In 1957, the seven townships were merged into zhentou Hefang urban and rural townships, which were under the jurisdiction of Yanshan district In 1998, Yanshan people's commune was established, with two administrative areas. Zhentou and Fangcheng administrative areas are under the jurisdiction of Fengcheng County People's Committee. Zhentou commune and Fangcheng commune were established under the jurisdiction of Yanshan district. Zhentou township was changed in 1984 and Huangcheng town was changed in December 1996. it is named after the original temple in the courtyard. In the early period of the Republic of China (1927), Huangcheng town and Damiao town were established in today's Huangcheng area. In 1950, Tancheng, tengtan, Damiao, Tangtou, zhentou and Zhushan were established. In 1957, it was merged into zhentou Township and Fangcheng Township, belonging to Yanshan district. It was renamed zhentou commune in 1968 and separated from HUTANG commune in 1972. Zhentou township was changed in 1984 and Huangcheng town was established in December 1996. In 1997, it covers an area of 88.8 square kilometers and has a population of 31000. It governs 17 administrative villages including zhentou, Xiaoling, Tengfang, Xiexi, Gaolou, Jianquan, Ganjia, Tiannan, Youjia, Liangjia, Qingxi, Kanshang, Damiao, Shangcheng, Luxi, Lutian and Zhushan. The town government is stationed in Huangcheng.

The town government is located at 147 Huangcheng Avenue, zhentou, 41 kilometers away from the urban area.
