Anli town

Anli town belongs to Chengcheng County, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the middle of Chengcheng County, adjacent to the county and mining area. Zhuangtou township is in the East, Chengguan town in the southeast, yaotou town in the south, Xigu town in Baishui County across the Luohe River in the west, Fengyuan town in the northwest and Wangzhuang Town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 14 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 8.5 kilometers, with a total area of 84.81 square kilometers.

As of June 2020, Anli town has jurisdiction over 13 administrative villages. As of 2018, the population of 25086 people registered residence in Anni town. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Anli town was 332.9 million yuan, the total industrial output value was 240 million yuan, and the total social commodity sales reached 23.55 million yuan.

Historical evolution

According to the inscriptions on Baoan Temple, in 1365, when the epidemic was prevalent, Bai Zhizhen, a Taoist of Baoan Temple, was well versed in medicine and tried his best to cure the villagers so that they would not suffer from the epidemic. In order to feel its virtue, the village was named Anli.

In 1929, it belonged to Zhengbei district (Wangzhuang).

In 1935, it belonged to Liu Zhuolian.

In 1939, it belonged to Zhenggong township (Wangzhuang).

In 1950, it belonged to Wangzhuang district and was divided into liuzhuo Township, Sanmen Township and Duanzhuang township.

In 1955, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged into liuzhuo township.

In February 1956, it was renamed Anli Township, and the township government moved from liuzhuo village to Anli village.

In September 1958, it merged with some production teams of yaotou commune and Wangzhuang commune to form Xianfeng commune.

In December 1958, Chengcheng County was merged into Pucheng County, and then it belonged to Wangzhuang commune and set up Anli management area.

In September 1961, the establishment of Anli commune was restored in Chengcheng County.

In April 1984, it was changed to Anli township.
