Xiazhai town

Xiazhai town belongs to Dali County, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the southwest of Dali County, bordering qiangbai town in the northeast, Linwei District in the west, Weihe River in the south, and Bi hometown in Huaxian county. The maximum distance from east to west is 7.35 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 16.8 km, with a total area of 106.65 square kilometers.

As of June 2020, Xiazhai town has 16 administrative villages. As of 2018, the population of 38034 people in the lower Zhai town registered residence. In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in Xiazhai town was 5656 yuan. The total industrial output value reached 340 million yuan.

Historical evolution

In the Hongwu Period of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1398), tongguanwei built several villages and garrison troops here. This place is Xiazhai, so it is named today.

In Ming Dynasty, it belonged to meiyang township.

In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Xixiang.

After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to shaming township.

In 1949, it belonged to the fourth district after liberation.

In 1952, it belongs to the seventh township of qiangbai district.

In 1956, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged into XiaZhai township.

In 1958, it was incorporated into qiangbai commune.

In 1961, Xiazhai commune was established.

In 1984, XiaZhai township was established.

In May 2000, it was changed to Xiazhai town.

In February 2011, Zhang's hometown was merged into Xiazhai town.
