Xiangjiaba town

Xiangjiaba town is located in the southwest of Shuifu City, across the river from Hengjiang Town, Yibin County, Sichuan Province. It is located in the middle of Shuifu City, with an area of 61.35 square kilometers, a permanent population of 19294 (2017), and a common cultivated land area of 26000 mu.

The town government is stationed in Yingxin community. The town is high in the southwest and belongs to the second half mountainous area; the Hengjiang River in the southeast is the Valley Flat dam or hilly area. Affected by the monsoon, the town has a typical subtropical climate with an average temperature of 19.4 ℃ and an annual rainfall of 1077.7mm. Historical evolution

The jurisdiction area of Xiangjiaba town is yuanlouba town. In 1974, Shuidong and ShuiHe communes were transferred from Yibin County, Sichuan Province to Shuifu City, Yunnan Province. In August 1977, from the Xinshou brigade of Suijiang County conference commune, three teams were set up in ShuiHe commune to form Xintian brigade. In early 1984, Shuidong and ShuiHe communes merged to form Louba District, and the district office was located in louziba. In January 1988, the district was removed and the township was changed. In April 1997, the township was set up. at the beginning of 2006, Yunfu town and Louba town merged to establish Xiangjiaba Town, where the town people's government is located in zhongzui. in March 2012, Yunfu sub district office was established in Xiangjiaba town. After the establishment, five villages including Louba, Shuidong, ShuiHe, Yong'an and Dachi and Yingxin community were under the jurisdiction of Xiangjiaba town. The resident of the town people's government was moved from the county to Louba village.
