Mawei street, belonging to Xingping City, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the Midwest of Xingping City. It is adjacent to Xicheng street in the East, Sangzhen street in the south, Changning town in Wugong County in the west, Shide town in Liquan county and Malian town in Qian County in the north. Historical evolution
According to records, in the 18th year of Taiyuan (393) of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, bandits often appeared in the Pinus massoniana forest, and the people were restless day and night. The imperial court sent a local military officer named Mawei to act here. He built the city and organized the guards to hunt down the bandits, so that the bandits disappeared and the people lived and worked in peace and contentment. Mawei was praised by the imperial court. To commemorate Mawei, the local people renamed Mawei slope Mawei slope.
In the Jin Dynasty, cities were built and fortresses were set up.
In the fourth year of Tang Jinglong (710), he was the governor of Jincheng county.
In 757, Jincheng County moved out and was set as Mawei post.
