Penggong town
Penggong Town, belonging to Changwu County, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the north of the county. It is adjacent to Xianggong town in the East, Zhaoren town in the south, Dizhang town in the West and Ningxian County in Gansu Province in the north. The total area is 62.94 square kilometers.

Historical evolution
Formerly known as penggu village, it was built by Peng in his early years. In the Qing Dynasty, the Wei family moved here. In memory of Peng's contribution to the construction of the village, he was honored as Peng Gong.
In 1949, it was under the jurisdiction of Jinxian district.
In 1956, after the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, it belonged to Zhaoren Township and Xianggong Township respectively.
On November 30, 1958, He county belonged to Changwu commune.
In 1961, Penggong commune was established after the county was divided.
In June 1984, it was changed to Penggong township.
