Zhaoren street, belonging to Changwu County, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the middle of the county. It is adjacent to Tingkou town in the East, Zaoyuan town across Heihe River in the south, Dingjia town in the west, Dizhang town and Penggong town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 15.3 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 5.2 kilometers, with a total area of 47.6 square kilometers.

Historical evolution
It is named after the Zhaoren temple built in the Tang Dynasty.

Zhaoren town was established in 1934.
In 1950, Chengguan District Office (also known as a District Office) was set up, with jurisdiction over eight townships.

In 1957, Zhaoren township was abolished and subordinate to Zhaoren town.

Zhaoren street is located in the gully area of Weibei Loess Plateau. The terrain is high in the East, high in the north and low in the south, and tilts from southwest to northeast. The highest point is located in Xiguan village, 1201 meters above sea level; the lowest point is located in Yishan village.

Hall of Zhaoren Temple
The main hall of Zhaoren temple is an ancient Chinese Buddhist building. Commonly known as iron Buddha Temple, it is located in Zhaoren street, Changwu County, Shaanxi Province. The temple was built in 639, the 13th year of Zhenguan in Tang Dynasty, and has been rebuilt many times. The original temple has been destroyed, and the existing hall was rebuilt in Song Dynasty.
In the main hall of Zhaoren temple, there is a Dougong on the corner, on the head of the column and in the mending room. The structure of the Dougong is simple. There are no columns or seven beams in the hall. The beam frame is arched by the eight trigrams with four corner beams and four corner beams, supporting purlins and rafters. Its structural method is that four corner beams are respectively placed on the front and rear eaves and the column head Dougong of the two mountains, the middle point of the corner beam is set with columns to support the flat roof under the front and rear eaves and the rafter supporting brace of the two mountains, the flat beam is set on the rafter supporting brace, and the Shu column is set on the flat beam to form the mountain beam frame. The flat beams with two open joints are supported by four corner beams. Shu column and fork are set on the flat beam to support the upper flat and ridge. The structure is exquisite and conforms to the principle of mechanics. There is a stone tablet in 630, 3.6 meters high and 1.5 meters wide, inscribed with nine seal characters of "the tablet of Zhaoren temple in Chenzhou of Tang Dynasty". The inscription is written by Zhu Zishe, a senior official of the Tang Dynasty. It consists of 40 lines, 44 characters in each line. It describes Li Shimin's defeat of Xue rengao in 618. His calligraphy is different from other Tang Dynasty steles. It is clear and elegant, smooth but not slippery, vigorous, elegant and vivid. It is a treasure of ancient Chinese calligraphy. It is said to be Yu Shinan or ou Yangxun The book. The stele stood in the northwest of the main hall and was later moved to the front of the hall.
On January 13, 1988, the main hall of Zhaoren temple was listed as the third batch of national key cultural relics protection units announced by the State Council.
