Jingkou town
Jingkou Town, belonging to Taibai County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the west of Taibai county. It is connected with zuitou town in the East, Wangjialing town in the south, pingmu town in Fengxian County in the West and Shennong town in Weibin District in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 12 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 22.5 kilometers, with a total area of 194 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Jingkou town has six administrative villages. As of 2018, Jingkou town had 3483 registered residence population. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Jingkou town reached 45.84 million yuan, and the total industrial output value reached 5.73 million yuan.
Historical evolution
In 1912, the first year of the Republic of China (1912), the meaning of "appeasement and tranquility" was changed from "import" to "Jingkou".
In January 1953, it was under the jurisdiction of Fengxian County.
In February 1953, Taibai central district was established, and the fourth administrative village of huangniuhe Township and Guanshang Township in Fengxian County was under the jurisdiction of Taibai district. Jingkou management area was set up, and shuihaochuan village of the fourth Township in Zhongnan county was under the jurisdiction of Jingkou District in June of the same year, with guanshangjie, huangniuhe, Baiyun and wangjiaxun.
In October 1958, it was changed into Jingkou commune, which has jurisdiction over 13 production brigades.
In May 1959, Baiyun and Wangjialing were designated. Jingkou commune had 11 production teams, including Shigou, shigoumen, jiaojiashan, liangshuiquan, Miaotai, sanjunyuan, xiyanggou, shuihaochuan, dadiling and qijiashan.
In September 1966, Jingkou commune was renamed Hongwei commune.
In December 1970, the original name was restored.
In May 1984, the commune was changed into a township, with jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages.
In 1997, the township was removed and Jingkou town was built. The people's government was stationed in guanshangjie village, with jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages.

In 2004, qijiashan village was merged into dadiling village and xiyanggou village, which were merged into sanjunyuan village and governed nine administrative villages.
By the end of 2011, Jingkou town had 9 administrative villages, including guanshangjie, dadiling, shuihaochuan, Shigou, shigoumen, jiaojiashan, sanjunyuan, liangshuiquan and Miaotai, with 25 villager groups.
As of June 2020, Jingkou town has six administrative villages. The people's government is stationed in guanshangjie village.
