Pingmu town
Pingmu Town, belonging to Feng County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the east of Feng County, bordering Jingkou town of Taibai County in the East, Pingkan town in the south, Hekou town in the West and Gaojia town in Weibin District of Baoji City in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 16.5 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 30.9 kilometers, with a total area of 198.37 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, pingmu town has eight administrative villages. By the end of 2018, 9080 people registered residence in Ping mu. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of pingmu town reached 12.087 million yuan, and the trade turnover reached more than 1.4 million yuan.
Historical evolution
It is said that Sima Yi ordered soldiers to destroy the tomb of marquis Pingwu, so it was named "pingmu". Later, the "Tomb" was refined into "wood".
Qing Dynasty belongs to yongxingli.
Qing Qianlong 29 years (1764), is the East path.
In 1929, it belonged to Dongxiao district.
In 1935, it was renamed Jingkou joint security office.
In 1939, it was renamed Jingkou township.

In June 1961, it was renamed pingmu commune, with 14 production teams and 66 production teams under its jurisdiction.

In June 1970, pingmu commune was restored.
In March 1984, pingmu commune was changed into pingmu Township, which has jurisdiction over 14 administrative villages and 73 village groups.

In November 2007, Shibangou village was abolished and renxishan village, Pingling village was abolished and rensihe village was abolished, Qixin village was merged into Liujiazhuang village, and jinggoumen village was abolished (immigrated in 2003). Four villages were abolished, six villager groups were abolished and 13 villager groups were merged.
By the end of 2011, pingmu town had 10 administrative villages, including Dongzhuang, Baimang temple, Sigou, Shanghe, pingmu, Xishan, Sihe, Yanghe, shaoguozhuang and Liujiazhuang, and 54 villager groups.
As of June 2020, pingmu town has eight administrative villages. The people's government is stationed in pingmu village.

Pingmu town is located in the middle and low mountain area of the southern foot of Qinling Mountains, high in the northeast and low in the southwest. The terrain in the territory is mainly Intermountain wide valley basin. The main peaks are shijieliang, the highest peak of which is located in Qixin village with an altitude of 2700 meters, and the lowest point of which is located in pingmu village with an altitude of 1100 meters.
