Guozhen street, belonging to Chencang District, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the south of Chencang District, adjacent to Dongguan Street in the East, Weixi town across the Weihe River in the south, Qianwei street in the West and Zhouyuan town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 5.4 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 3.5 km, with a total area of 14 square kilometers.

Historical evolution
It was named after the feudal land of Guozhong, the younger brother of King Wen of Zhou.
In the Western Zhou Dynasty, Guo county was set up when the state was granted by Wu Li of the Zhou Dynasty.
The county seat of Guo county was in Qin, Han, Sui, Tang, song and early Yuan Dynasty.
In the middle of the Yuan Dynasty, Guo county was designated as a town under the jurisdiction of Baoji County.
In 1949, after the founding of the people's Republic of China, Baoji County government moved from Baoji to Guo town.
In August 1952, Guozhen district was established, with jurisdiction over 14 townships.
In September 1956, it was established as Guo town.
In 1958, it was changed into Guozhen commune, with jurisdiction over eight production brigades. In December of the same year, Guozhen was changed into a large commune, with jurisdiction over 11 administrative areas and Guozhen.
In 1961, Guozhen commune was restored, with eight production teams under its jurisdiction.
In August 1964, it was changed into Chengguan commune and Guozhen town was added (governing residents of Chengguan town).
In March 1968, Guo town changed its name to Hongqi Town. In September of the next year, its original name was restored.
In April 1984, Chengguan commune was incorporated into Guozhen Town, governing 13 administrative villages, 3 streets and 12 communities.
In 2000, the administrative villages, streets and communities remained unchanged.
In December 2001, Yangjiagou township was abolished and merged into Guo Town, which was renamed Guo town. It has jurisdiction over 24 administrative villages, 3 streets and 10 communities.
In July 2011, the organizational system of Guo town was abolished, and three streets, Guo Town, Qianwei and Dongguan, were set up.

Guo town has a long history and profound cultural accumulation. In the Neolithic Age 7000 years ago, this is the main area where the ancestor of the Chinese nation, Emperor Yan, and his tribe lived. In the Western Zhou Dynasty, it was the fiefdom of Guo Zhong, the younger brother of King Wen of Zhou. The state of Qin established Guo County here during the reign of Duke Wu of Qin. During the northern and Southern Dynasties, Wudu Prefecture was set up here. Shuozhou Prefecture was set up here in the Northern Zhou Dynasty. Guo county has always been a county seat in the Qin, Han, Sui, Tang, song and early Yuan Dynasties. In the middle of Yuan Dynasty, Guo county was merged into Baoji County and became the largest town in Baoji County. After the separation of cities and counties in 1949, Guo County became the county seat of Baoji County.
