Tumen Street
Tumen street, belonging to Lianhu District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the southwest of Lianhu District, Xi'an City, west of Xi'an West Second Ring Road. It is adjacent to Taoyuan road in the East, Kunming Road in the south, yuhuazhai street in Yanta District, Hancheng road in the west, Zaoyuan street in the South and Daqing Road in the north, covering a total area of 2.9 square kilometers.
Tumen village in Tumen street has the site of kaiyuanmen in the west of Chang'an City, the starting point of the Tang Dynasty "Silk Road", which was later destroyed as Tumen, so it is named. Historical sites include the northern wall of the palace of Chang'an City in Tang Dynasty.
As of June 2020, Tumen Street governs 17 communities. In 2011, the total population of Tumen street was 107300, the total industrial output value was 2.89 billion yuan, the total sales of social goods was 390 million yuan, and the total financial revenue was 71.09 million yuan.

Tumen village in the territory of the Tang Dynasty "Silk Road" starting point Chang'an waikuo City West kaiyuanmen ruins, later destroyed as Tumen, hence the name.
History of construction
In September 1957, Tumen street, located in Tumen village, belongs to Afang district.
In March 1959, Taoyuan road street was set up.
In May 1960, it became the Tumen branch of Tumen commune.
In December 1961, it was changed into Tumen commune.
In October 1965, it was assigned to Lianhu District.
In 1971, the office moved to its current location.
In 1978, the streets were rebuilt.
