Ziqiang road street, belonging to Xincheng District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the northern suburb of Xi'an City, on the north side of Longhai railway, adjacent to Taihua road street in the East, Longhai Railway and jiefangmen street in the south, beiguanzheng street in Lianhu District in the west, and DAMINGGONG Township in Weiyang District in the north, with a total area of 2.34 square kilometers.
Ziqiang road is the main road running through the north suburb. Tang Daming Palace is a world heritage site and the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

In 1955, it was Ziqiang road street in Weiyang District.
In 1958, it was transferred to Xincheng District and changed into Ziqiang road commune. In the same year, two streets of huangjinmiao and Erma road were merged.
In 1966, it was renamed Xiangyang Road commune.
In December 1978, it was renamed Ziqiang road street.

Daming Palace
Daming Palace is the main palace of the Tang Dynasty, the political center and national symbol of the Tang Dynasty. It is located in longshouyuan, north of Chang'an (now Xi'an), the capital of the Tang Dynasty, and in Ziqiang road. Daming Palace is the largest of the three main palaces in Chang'an City in Tang Dynasty (Daming Palace, Taiji palace and Xingqing Palace). Since Emperor Gaozong of the Tang Dynasty, 17 emperors of the Tang Dynasty have been here for more than 200 years.
On March 4, 1961, the Daming Palace site was announced as the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units by the State Council of the people's Republic of China. On September 9, 2009, the epic documentary Daming Palace premiered at the United Nations headquarters, creating a precedent for Chinese films to premiere in the United Nations.
