Zada County in Ali Prefecture, Tibet, China governs the township, Chusong village and Baka village, with a total of 14 natural villages. The township government is located in Chusong village.

It is located in the northwest of Zada County, Tibet, adjacent to qusong Township in the East and India in the northwest, West and south. It is 320 kilometers away from the county. There are so many Zangbu River and its tributaries flowing through the territory. It is one of the most inaccessible villages in China because of its high mountains and rugged roads.

In 1996, qusong district had jurisdiction over two townships, among which qumudi Township had jurisdiction over four administrative villages, and chulu Songjie Township had jurisdiction over four administrative villages, namely, Songjie, chulu, Bajiao and kabuere.

In 1999, the District of Zada county was merged with the township, and qusong district was abolished. The administrative regions of Songjie Township and qumudi Township in chulu county were merged into qusong Township, and the county was directly under the central government. The original chulu Songjie village was changed into chulu Songjie village, belonging to qusong township.

In 2000, qusong Township governed qumudi village and chulu Songjie village. Songjie village of Chu Lu belongs to qusong township.

In July 2012, the people's Government of the Tibet Autonomous Region decided to abolish chulu Songjie village, and set chulu Songjie village apart from qusong Township, and set up chulu Songjie Township and county directly under the central government.

On September 11, 2012, chulu Songjie township was officially established.

Located in the northwest of Zhada County, Tibet, China, it is located in the deep mountains at the southern foot of the Himalayas, 313 kilometers away from Zhada county. It is adjacent to qusong Township in the East, Indian controlled Kashmir in the north, karange ridge, snowu mountain, takdible and other areas in the north, and India in the northwest, West and south, with the Himalayan snow peak line as the boundary. This section of boundary, starting from the end of the western section of the Sino Indian boundary, passes through the watershed of juwa canal of Pali River in the South and other tributaries of Spiti River in the other side Highland 6226 on the watershed meets the Spiti river several kilometers west of the confluence of juwa canal and Spiti River, and then along the Spiti River to the confluence of the river and Pali River. In the south of the confluence of Pali River and sipiti River, the boundary passes through 6791 highland and runs southward along Kouling to shibuqi pass.

It is 320 kilometers away from the county seat and 110 kilometers away from the seat of qusong township government. In January 2019, the mountain was closed by heavy snow, and the teahouse and shop of Zhuoma Yangzong's family in Songjie township of chulu county was the only place where goods could be bought. Due to the limited power supply capacity, the power consumption of township cadres' dormitories is basically guaranteed by household solar photovoltaic power generation. In cloudy or snowy days, sometimes there will be no electricity, no network, no mobile phone signal. The cadres can only rely on a gasoline generator for their daily meeting, laundry and draught.

In 1985, with yaks and horses carrying construction materials, chulu Songjie primary school was completed and opened. In that year, 48 students were enrolled, and the older students were in their teens.

In 1999, the young pioneers team was established for the first time in chulu Songjie primary school.

In 2005, chulu Songjie Apple primary school had two grades and two classes, with 14 students and 3 teaching staff.

In March 2015, chulu Songjie Apple primary school had 25 students in preschool, grade one and grade two.

In June 2018, there were 14 students and one formal teacher in chulu Songjie Township teaching point. All the students came from poor families, and there was no professional Chinese teacher. In addition to teaching, teacher sorandobjer of the teaching point also served as the logistics management of the school, washing and cooking for students, and taking care of their daily life.

Medical and health services

In April 2015, Zhuoma, a villager in Songjie township of chulu, was ill and in urgent need of surgery. The Xinjiang Military Region dispatched helicopters to pick up Zhuoma and send him to the people's Hospital of Ali Region for treatment.
