Bangxin Township

Motuo County, Linzhi City, Tibet Autonomous Region governs the township, and the township government is located in Bangxin village.

In 2016, it has jurisdiction over 7 administrative villages: Bangxin village, gendeng village, Bangguo Village (pangguo), KenKen village, Xideng Village (Xidian), Gangyu village and Zongrong village. Six villages are on the East Bank of Yajiang River, and only one is on the West Bank.

Located in the northeast of Motuo County, Tibet Autonomous Region, it is 59.6km away from the county seat and adjacent to Reza Township in the north. It is a town scattered on the mountains and the gateway of shangsan Township in Motuo County. It is located in the core area of Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon, with Typical Alpine Canyon landform and obvious vertical climate.

In June 2018, there were 272 households and 1370 people in the township.

Bangxin township is the famous place of origin of Motuo stone pot.

Bangxin township is the famous place of origin of Motuo stone pot. The local people carved the "soap stone" from the cliff of Namjagbarwa peak with primitive knives and sold it all over the country.

Xideng Village (Xidian Village) in Bangxin township is the famous place of origin of Motuo stone pot. Most villagers live by stone pot industry. In the era of no access road, the stone pots produced here could only be carried out by people, and the strong labor could carry up to five at a time. It took three days to get to the county.

After Motuo highway was opened to traffic in 2013, Bangxin Township Shiguo professional cooperative was established to organize farmers who produce and sell Shiguo. The cooperative provides technical training and financial support, and is responsible for design and sales. As of March 2017, more than 100 people have been trained to carve stone pots, and more than 10 kinds of new stone pots have been developed, including eight treasures auspicious pictures. The new stone pot integrates practicality, beauty and health care, and is popular in the market. Many merchants also buy stone pots through the Internet.

By February 2017, a total of 715 mu of high standard Alpine organic tea garden had been built in Bangxin township.

In 2019, 440 people from 82 poverty-stricken households in Xinxiang will be lifted out of poverty, of which 135 people from 33 households in Gangyu village will be lifted out of poverty through relocation in March 2019.

In June 2020, there will be 1869 mu of tea land in the township.

Infrastructure construction

On January 8, 2009, the base station of China Mobile Communications in Bangxin township was opened, realizing the connection of mobile phones to the countryside.

In 2014, the government invested 2 million yuan in the construction of characteristic villages in Bangxin village, with a construction area of 150m2.

In November 2015, the pasture road project of Bangguo village in Bangxin township was preliminarily accepted. The content is: the grassland area is 20000 mu, the newly built pasture road is 9.6 km, and the total investment is 1.306 million yuan.

In April 2016, the project of village level organization activity places in Zongrong village and gendeng village of Bangxin township was being implemented, with a construction area of 150m2 and an investment of 400000 yuan.

In November 2016, the construction project of agriculture and animal husbandry comprehensive service center in Bangxin Township passed the municipal acceptance, with an investment of 943500 yuan.

By the end of 2016, the road in jinbangxin township was a dirt road, which was dangerous to pass in rainy season.

In October 2018, the construction of bilingual kindergartens in Xideng village and Zongrong village of Bangxin Township started, with an investment of 2.1 million yuan.

In May 2018, the KenKen broadband network of Bangxing township was opened.

In June 2019, Bangxin township management station of Motuo County, the fourth phase of Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon National Nature Reserve, was accepted.

Culture and education

In 1973, Bangxin primary school was established. At the beginning of its establishment, the school only had three classes from grade one to grade three, with only six teachers.

In 1993, the classroom was built of wood, and the benches were made of long wood. There was no floor, no water and electricity. The water was used in a ditch 200 meters away. There are 84 students in the school.

In September 2003, six grades were set up in bangxinxiang primary school.

In September 2012, we helped Xinxiang primary school set up more preschool classes.

By June 2014, the school had 8 classes, including preschool class, Dabang preschool bilingual class, one class from grade one to grade six. There are 148 students and 18 teachers. The students are mainly Menba. It covers an area of 7800 square meters and a building area of 1735 square meters. The auxiliary teaching rooms, such as moral education room and library, have been established. The school has 2000 books, 10 computers and a set of multimedia teaching system.

On June 1, 2017, Bangxin Township Central Primary School held an art performance to celebrate the children's day, with more than 150 participants from the Party committee, government and parents of each village.

On June 27, 2019, the bilingual kindergartens in Xideng village and Zongrong village of Bangxin Township were opened, and the first batch of 29 school-age children were enrolled.

Medical and health services

From May 21 to 22, 2015, the staff of the family planning and immunization Department of Motuo County CDC went to Bangxin primary school to carry out the work of measles vaccine leak detection and supplementary inoculation, and vaccinated 52 students from grade 1 to grade 2 with measles vaccine.

In October 2015, the Tibetan Hospital of Motuo County carried out the work of farmers' and herdsmen's health records in Bangxin township. A total of 59 elderly people over 65 years old and 57 children aged 0-3 years old were filed in 7 villages of Bangxin township. At the same time, it provided free medical treatment for local people, and distributed 25 kinds of Tibetan medicine, with a value of 3994.70 yuan.

On November 21, 2015, the medical team and the county health service center visited Bangxin township for free, distributed more than 2000 boxes (bags) of drugs in four categories for the masses, and more than 150 people got free physical examination.

In January 2017, some leaders of Motuo County Health Service Center went to Bangxin township health center to check the work of the health center. They learned that the health center of Bangxin Township needed to solve: medicine cabinet, infusion rack, debridement and suture equipment, suture needle, and gave help to solve the problem. The value of the items was about 3000 yuan, and the consolation money was 3000 yuan.

At the end of December 2017, the health service center of Motuo County arranged medical staff to visit Bangxin Township, distributed drugs free of charge, and explained influenza prevention knowledge to the masses, school teachers and students in detail.

Culture and sports

On August 29, 2017, Bangxin Township held a literature and art performance of "four lectures and four loves" theme education practice activities in Bangxin Township Primary School. 299 farmers and herdsmen in six administrative villages performed 14 song and dance programs and watched more than 400 people.

On October 16, 2017, Bangxin Township held an art performance of "Practicing" four stresses and four loves "to welcome the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC)". A total of 280 people attended and performed 33 dance, chorus and solo programs.

During the Spring Festival and Tibetan New Year in February 2018, Bangxin township of Motuo County organized and carried out cultural and sports activities, including new year's interesting cultural activities, song and dance, tug of war, bonfire party, etc., with more than 700 people participating in the activities. At the same time, Bangxin township government actively cooperated with Motuo County folk art troupe to send literature and art performances to Bangxin township.
