Gangga town
Dingri County, Shigatse City is under the jurisdiction of the town. It is located in the west of the county, with zhagou Township in the East, Kema Township in the north, nailong Township in Nyalam County in the West and Nepal kingdom in the south, 71 kilometers away from xieger town.
Basic introduction
In August 1960, Dingri County moved from xieger to gangga village, and in July 1968, it moved back to xieger town. The town government is located in gangga village, commonly known as "laodingri", which was changed to gangga town in 1999. Gangga town is the largest town in Dingri county and one of the five border towns in Dingri county.

The economy is dominated by agriculture, animal husbandry and tourism. The per capita income of the town is 1526 yuan. The cultivated land covers an area of 1496.2 hectares, mainly planting highland barley, wheat, pea and oil crops, which is the main grain and oil production area in Dingri county. Livestock mainly include yak, yak, cattle, horse, goat and sheep. At the end of the year, the total number of livestock on hand was 53000.

Gangga town has convenient transportation and national highway 318 runs across the town. It is the only way to Zhangmu port and Jilong county. Gangga town has set up a yak piggyback transport service team to provide services for tourists to climb and explore zhuo'aoyou peak. The town actively developed border trade, established 11 family hotels and more than 60 individual business households. In 2001, langguo hydropower station with an installed capacity of 400 kW was newly built, and the power grid covered 16 administrative villages in the town. In 2003, the whole town realized the "village to village" radio and television project, with a comprehensive radio and television coverage rate of 100%. There are 1 Central Primary School, 2 complete primary schools, 11 village teaching centers and 1042 students in the town. The town has Agricultural Bank of China business office, Mobile Telecom Branch and other service facilities. It is rich in tourism resources. Within its jurisdiction, there are monuments of Mount Everest National Nature Reserve and 12 temples, all of which are cultural relics protection units. Gangga town is the best place to watch Mt. Everest, zhuo'aoyou, Luozi and Makalu. More than 1260 people visit the core area of Mt. Everest nature reserve every year.
