Baoxiu town is located 10 kilometers west of Shiping County, named after Baoshan Pavilion and Xiushan temple. It faces qinglongchang town and Longtan Township in Yuanjiang County of Yuxi City across the river in the west, Daqiao Township in the northwest, Yilong town in the southeast and shaochong town in the north.
