Mengsheng farm is located in Mengsheng Town, Cangyuan County, Lincang City, Yunnan Province. It was built on March 16, 1958 by 512 transferred officers of the 14th army of the Chinese people's Liberation Army. The farm has a land area of 28000 mu, a total population of 5850 people and 1673 employees. It is a multi-ethnic state-owned agricultural enterprise composed of 20 ethnic groups from 20 provinces and autonomous regions, 80% of which are Wa ethnic groups.

It has formed a medium-sized agricultural reclamation enterprise with a certain scale and advantages of comprehensive operation, respective advantages and common development of tea, cement, agriculture, electric power, construction, medical and other industrial companies.

Farm information
The tea company under the farm was established in 1993. It has 3 primary tea making institutes and 14 planting and production teams. It has 6500 mu of standard high-yield tea garden and produces varieties of red stripe tea, roasted green tea, steamed green tea, sun dried green tea and Pu'er tea. It has an annual processing capacity of 1000 tons. In 2006, it obtained QS certification of black tea, green tea and Pu'er tea. In 2007, it was awarded "quality management system isop00i" by China Quality Certification Group and Hangzhou Zhongnong quality certification center
