Xiazhuang town
Xiazhuang Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Rongcheng City, Weihai City, Shandong Province, is located in the middle and north of Rongcheng City. It connects Lidao town in the East, the urban area in the south, Yaxi town in the West and Buliu town in the north. The administrative area is 50.33 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Xia Zhuang town was 11307.
In August 1966, 19 administrative villages were designated by Yaxi commune and 16 by Xunshan commune, and Xiazhuang commune was added. In March 1984, it was transferred to Xiazhuang township. In December 1989, the township was moved to Xiazhuang town. As of June 2020, Xiazhuang town has 30 administrative villages.
In 2011, the local financial revenue of Xiazhuang town was 8.41 million yuan, an increase of 17.4% over the previous year. Among them, the national tax was 3.49 million yuan, an increase of 17.9% over the previous year; the local tax was 4.92 million yuan, an increase of 17.1% over the previous year. In 2011, the total output value of agriculture reached 750 million yuan, accounting for 16% of GDP. The per capita net income of farmers is 5335 yuan. In 2018, there were 34 industrial enterprises in Xiazhuang Town, including 11 above scale and 24 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In April 1940, the Anti Japanese democratic government was established, belonging to the third district of Rongcheng County; in December of the same year, it was changed to the first district.
In March of 1941, the area was reduced to a township, belonging to the historic area of the first district, Lianhe Township and qingbu township of the second district.
In March 1942, it belonged to WEIDESHAN and xinghuakou.
In 1946, xinghuakou district was abolished, belonging to Weide mountain area.
In September 1950, it was called Weide district.
In January 1957, it belonged to Xiazhuang Township and cangcun township of Weide district.
From July 1957 to March 1958, the district was removed and the township was built, and two townships, cangcun and Xiazhuang, were set up.
In August 1958, the two townships were abolished and merged into Yaxi Township and Xunshan Township respectively.

As of June 2020, Xiazhuang town has 30 administrative villages: daxiazhuang village, xiaoxiazhuang village, ma'anbu village, Beishan Yangjia village, Beishan Lengjia village, tongjiazhuang village, Zhanjia village, shibaodingjia village, Dongzang village, Xinglong Village, qianzhai village, Houzhai village, qiansuge village, shiboyanjia village, jiakuang Wangjia village, jiakuang Majia village, jiakuang qujia village, qingbuling village, jianglinzhuang village, Leijia village Jiazhuang village, Hasan village, Dalu village, Erlu village, Sanlu village, quanyangjia village, chujia village, shangguojia village, xiaguojia village, zhaizishuo village, Hebei Ya Village, and the people's government is stationed in xiaoxiazhuang village.

In 2011, Xiazhuang town has a cultivated area of 3300 mu, garden area of 0200 mu, woodland area of 2000 mu and grassland area of 0200 mu. It is an important food, economic crops and animal husbandry production area in the city, and the main production area of peanut, apple and chestnut in Rongcheng. Among them, the green peanut area reaches 10000 mu, the fruit area is 3000 mu, and the dry fruit area is 2000 mu. The main food crops are wheat and corn. The yanjiashi tombs are located in the north of yanjiacun, Shipeng, Xiazhuang town. They are the ancestral tombs of Yan family. The original area of 15 mu, there are nearly 90 large and small stone graves, now only two. Both tombs are made of granite and are built on multi-layer platform foundation.
