Diansha township is located in the northwest of Xundian County, 35 km away from the county, 103 ° 00 '- 103 ° 00' east longitude and 25 ° 33 '- 25 ° 54' north latitude. It was established in 1980 by the remote poverty-stricken villages (offices) of five townships (towns) in XUNDIAN, including Jinsuo, Jinyuan, Liushao, Fengyi and Gongshan. It is a typical poverty-stricken mountainous township of ethnic minorities and one of the 506 poverty alleviation townships in the province.
