Three pot town

Sanguo town is subordinate to Qingchuan County, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province. It is located at the junction of Sichuan and Gansu provinces, at the south foot of Motianling, and in the west of Qingchuan county. National Highway 543 (Qingchuan Pingwu highway) traverses the whole area from east to west, 33 kilometers away from Qingchuan County, with a total area of 180.2 square kilometers. It governs five villages and one community, with a total population of 7176 people (2017). It has 8430 mu of cultivated land and 76% of forest coverage, It is known as "Qingchuan small plain".

In Sanguo Town, there are Dongyanggou Provincial Nature Reserve, Wufeng temple in Wutai Mountain, Daoguang of Qing Dynasty, Deng ai'an, a famous general of the Three Kingdoms, and other historical and cultural relics. Sanguo town is an important node in the tourism circle of Jin and Tang Dynasties.

Sanguo town is a key market town in Qingchuan to coordinate urban and rural development, and a demonstration town of ecological agriculture development in Guangyuan. It is known as "the hometown of edible fungi in China".

On December 23, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Guangyuan City to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Qingchuan county and other four counties (districts) (cfzm [2019] No. 26): Qiaotou township was abolished and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Sanguo Town, and the people's government of Sanguo town was stationed at No. 1, Xinqu street.

Qing Dynasty and before

At the beginning of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, the sanguoshi village regiment was set up.

the Republic of China era

in the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to sanguole (Anshi) League training office. In the 24th year of the Republic of China (1935), a unit of the Fourth Front Army of the Red Army was stationed for one month on the way to the West. It fought against local tyrants, divided fields, publicized the program of the Communist Party of China, mobilized young people to join the Red Army, and established the Soviet Sanguo Township in Chishui county. In the same year, it set up the Sanle joint protection system, belonging to the third district of Pingwu County. in 1942, Qingchuan and Pingwu were divided into counties, and then changed into townships, belonging to the third district of Qingchuan county.

New China period

San Guo Shi township was built in 1950, belonging to the first district of Qingchuan county (Qingxi District). In 1952, sanguoshi township was changed into sanguoxiang. In 1958, Sanguo township was changed into Sanguo people's commune, belonging to Quhe district. In 1959, it was transferred to Le'an district. In 1961, it belonged to Qingxi district. In 1967, Sanguo commune was changed into Dongfeng commune. in 1981, it was renamed Sanguo commune. In 1984, Sanguo commune was changed into Sanguo Township, belonging to Qingxi district. in 1992, when the district was removed and the township was built, Qingxi district was removed, and then it was a township directly under the county (Science and technology bureau level). in March 2014, the people's Government of Sichuan Province approved the removal of Sanguo Township from township to town, and implemented the system of town governing village, with the original administrative region and government station unchanged. On April 23, the listing ceremony was held, and Sanguo town was officially established.

Location context

Sanguo town is located at the junction of Sichuan and Gansu provinces, the western border of Qingchuan County, at the foot of Motianling at the southern foot of Minshan mountains, adjacent to Qiaotou Township, leansi Township and Haoxi township of Qingchuan county. The town government is located in Sanguo community, 33 kilometers away from Qiaozhuang Town, covering an area of 180.2 square kilometers.

Sanguo town belongs to Zhongshan District, with high terrain in the north and low terrain in the south. The northern peaks of Wenxian, Gansu Province, are between 2000 and 2700 meters above sea level, with the highest peak at shietai, 2736 meters above sea level and the lowest at 817 meters above sea level. The southern mountains range from 1200 to 1500 meters above sea level. Dongyangba and xiyangba are the main rice producing areas in the county. The lowest point is 817 meters above sea level in xiyangba yanjingya and 872 meters above sea level in dongyangba Jiaojiao.

hydrology

The water area of the town is 300 mu, with a per capita area of 0.05 mu. The main rivers are Dongyang River and Xiyang River, with a total length of about 30 km. Dongyang river originates from shiertai in the northern edge, flows through shihugou, shangbali, Changzhen, jiaojiaoli in Dongyang village, shangyinshan in Minli village and xiayinshan in Minxing village. Xiyang river originates from yangjiaoyan in the northern edge, flows through xiyanggou, jiujiayuan in Minli village and yuchili, xiayinshan and yanjingya in Minxing village The Dongyang River and the Xiyang River, from the East and West wings, detour from north to South and descend to the south edge of the central part of the Xiyang dam, and merge into one, passing through qingshiba in Qiaotou Township and entering Qingzhu river.

The main natural disasters in the town include drought, flood, debris flow, earthquake, etc. the Wenchuan earthquake with Richter's 8.0 magnitude occurred at 14:28 on May 12, 2008, which caused 100% of the affected areas of farmers in the township, resulting in 5 deaths, 7 injuries, 375 minor injuries, 27011 houses collapsed and 14808 houses damaged, more than 20000 meters of irrigation weirs and canals, 35 kilometers of roads, and complete agricultural infrastructure such as water and electricity pipe network In addition, 4545 mu of crops were damaged, and more than 57600 livestock and poultry died, resulting in a direct economic loss of more than 570 million yuan.

In 2010, the total cultivated land area of the township was 8430 mu, the forest coverage rate was 76%, the management and protection of returning farmland to forests was 8058 mu, the total agricultural output value was 35.04 million yuan, and the grain output was 4191 tons.
