Rongjiang town

Rongjiang Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Xing'an County, Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the south of Xing'an County, with Lingchuan County in the South and West, Huajiang Yao Township, Longsheng County and Ziyuan County in the north, and Yanguan Town, Xing'an town and Gaoshang town in the East, with an administrative area of 461.85 square kilometers. In the Qing Dynasty, it was called Xixiang. In 1984, it was renamed Rongjiang town. In August 2005, Jinshi township was abolished and incorporated into Rongjiang town. By the end of 2018, the population of the registered residence in the town of Jiangjiang was 56125, mainly Han, Yao, Zhuang and Miao. By the end of 2019, Rongjiang town has one community and 17 administrative villages, and the office of the town government is located in Rongjiang community.

In 2018, there were 48 industrial enterprises in Rongjiang Town, including 4 above scale enterprises and 9 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

On September 24, 2019, Rongjiang town (grape) was selected into the list of the ninth batch of national "one village, one product" demonstration villages and towns.

History of construction

In the Qing Dynasty, it was called Xixiang.

On the eve of liberation, it was Rongjiang and Xi'an.

After liberation, it was once called Xi'an District, Rongjiang district and Rongjiang commune.

In 1984, it was renamed Rongjiang town.

In August 2005, Jinshi township was abolished and incorporated into Rongjiang town.
