Xiagezhuang Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Pinggu District, Beijing, lies between 117 ° 07'35 ″ - 117 ° 14'50 ″ E and 40 ° 03'57 ″ - 40 ° 09'34 ″ n. Because of the same name as Shunyi Zhanggezhuang people's commune, it was renamed Xiagezhuang people's commune in 1980. In 1984, the commune was transformed into a township. In 1996, the township was transformed into a town. In August 2010, the town government moved to the west of magezhuang village. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Xia Ge Zhuang town was 26265. As of June 2020, Xiagezhuang town has 3 communities and 15 administrative villages, and the town government is located in the west of magezhuang village, Xiagezhuang town.
