Guji Town, belonging to Hezhang County, Bijie City, Guizhou Province, is located in the northeast of Hezhang County, adjacent to Zhezhuang town in the East, Liuquhe town and Dayi town in the south, Caishen town in the north and Changba town in Zhenxiong County, Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province, with an administrative area of 111.08 square kilometers.
Before 1992, it belonged to Liuquhe town; in 1992, it was withdrawn from the district and merged with the township to establish Guji township. In 2017, Guji township was abolished and Guji town was established. By the end of 2018, the population of registered residence in ancient town was 31156. As of June 2020, Guji town has jurisdiction over 5 communities and 11 administrative villages, and the town government is located in Guji community.
