Dahewan Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Zhalantun City, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the southeast of Zhalantun city. In the East and Southeast, it is adjacent to Gannan County, Heilongjiang Province by jinjiehao. In the South and southwest, it is connected with Genghis Khan town. In the Northwest, it is connected with Zhalantun city by Gaotaizi bunker. In the north, it is adjacent to Dahewan farm and Daur nationality township, The administrative area is 343.96 square kilometers.
In 1948, Dahewan nutuk was established. In 1979, it was transferred back to Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. On September 22, 1994, it was changed to Dahewan town. By the end of 2018, the population of Dahe Town registered residence was 29165. As of June 2020, Dahewan town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 14 administrative villages.

History of construction
In 1948, Dahewan nutuk was established.
In 1949, Dahewan and Jianshanzi nutuk were merged into United nutuk, which is located in the town of Dechuan.
On March 28, 1958, United nutuk was changed into Dahewan township (small township); in September of the same year, Dahewan commune was changed.
In 1971, Dahewan was assigned to Heilongjiang Province.
In 1979, it was transferred back to Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
On October 23, 1984, Dahewan commune was transformed into a township.
On September 22, 1994, it was changed to Dahewan town.
In July 2006, Yongfeng Village, Yongxing Village, Qianjin village, Jinxing village and tietou village in Genghis Khan Town, and Jianshanzi village and shaligou village in Gaotaizi town were assigned to Dahewan town.
