Kunzhai Miao Yi Bai Township, belonging to Nayong County, Bijie City, Guizhou Province, is located in the northwest of Nayong County, adjacent to Huazuo Miao Yi Township and Longchang town in the East, pig farm Miao Yi Township in the south, zuoyujia Yi Miao Township in the southwest, guoquanyan Miao Yi Township in the West and northwest, Dongdi Miao Yi Township in the north, with an administrative area of 89.83 square kilometers.
Before the thirtieth year of the Republic of China (1941), it belonged to Dafang County, and later to Yongxian County; on July 20, 1984, it was built as kunzhai Miao Yi Bai Township, belonging to Zhikun district; in 1991, it was abolished, and Xinhe Township and Zhigou Miao Yi Township were merged into kunzhai Miao Yi Bai township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of the Miao and Yi people in the Bai nationality township of kunzhai village was 28002. As of June 2020, kunzhai Miao Yi Bai township has jurisdiction over one community, 16 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in the central community.

History of construction
Before the thirtieth year of the Republic of China (1941), it belonged to Dafang County, and later to Yongxian county.
In 1953, kunzhai township was built.
In 1958, it was changed into kunzhai commune.
On July 20, 1984, a minority township was built, which belongs to kunzhai Miao, Yi and Bai nationality.
In 1991, the kunzhai district was abolished, and Xinhe Township and Zhigou Miao Yi Township were merged into kunzhai Miao Yi Bai township.
