Xuanma town

Xuanma Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Qingcheng County, Qingyang City, Gansu Province, is located in the north of Qingcheng County, adjacent to Nanzhuang Township in the East, Qingcheng town in the south, sanliupu town in the west, Haoxiang Township and Yuele town in Huachi County in the north. The administrative area is 232.17 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the population of Xuan Ma town registered residence was 19427.

In February 1965, Jiaqiao commune was incorporated into xuanma commune and settled in Kongjiagou. In December 1983, xuanma township was changed. In January 2003, xuanma town was built. As of June 2020, xuanma town has 10 administrative villages and 1 community.

History of construction

In October 1949, xuanmawan township was established, belonging to Xinbao district.

In November 1955, Fangli township was merged into xuanmawan township.

In April 1958, xuanmawan township was merged into fanjiamiao township.

In May 1961, xuanma commune was established.

In February 1962, Jiaqiao commune was established.

In February 1965, Jiaqiao commune was incorporated into xuanma commune and settled in Kongjiagou.

In December 1983, xuanma township was changed.

In January 2003, xuanma town was built.

By June 2020, xuanma town has 10 administrative villages: gounao village, fanmiao village, Baishu village, Jiaqiao village, Kongqiao village, Baiyuan village, xuanma village, Laozhuang village, sangyuan village and Lingou village, and one community: Jiaqiao. The people's government is stationed in Jiaqiao village.
