Xinzhou town

Xinzhou Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Honghuagang District, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, is hosted by xinpuxin district. It is located in the east of Zunyi City, bordering Yongle Town in the East, Sandu town in the southeast, Xiazi town in the south, tuanze town in Huichuan District in the west, Puchang town in Suiyang County in the northwest and Zhengchang town in Suiyang County in the north, with an administrative area of 165.69 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Xinzhou town was 79163. As of October 2019, Xinzhou town has one community and 12 administrative villages.

In 2011, the total financial revenue of Xinzhou town was 3.85 million yuan, and the financial expenditure was 28.77 million yuan. In 2018, there were 21 industrial enterprises in Xinzhou Town, including one above scale and 118 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

On July 29, 2020, Xinzhou town was selected into the 2017-2019 National Health township (county) naming list.

History of construction

From the end of Tang Dynasty to the 28th year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty (1600), it belongs to the hereditary territory of Yang's local officials in Bozhou. The next year, it belongs to le'anli, Dongxiang, Zunyi County.

Qing Yongzheng six years (1728), along with the county to Guizhou Province.

In the second year of the Republic of China (1913), it belonged to the East three upper district and the East three lower district. In 1932, Xinzhou town was established as the Fifth District.

In 1955, it was renamed Xinzhou district.

In 1992, it was restored to Xinzhou town.

On May 4, 2009, Zunyi county (today's Bozhou District) designated Xinzhou Town, which was entrusted by the working committee of the Party committee and the Management Committee of Xinpu New District of Zunyi City.

In August 2012, with the approval of Guizhou Provincial People's government, Guizhou Xinpu economic development zone was established, and Xinzhou town was entrusted by the government.

On April 5, 2016, the general office of Guizhou provincial government announced that the State Council made a reply to Guizhou Provincial People's government's request for instructions on adjusting some administrative divisions of Zunyi City (QFC [2015] No. 31), and agreed to put Xinzhou Town, Xiazi Town, Sandu Town, Yongle Town, Laba town of Zunyi County and Beijing Road street of Huichuan District of Zunyi City under the jurisdiction of Honghuagang District of Zunyi City.

From 2016 to 2019, Xinzhou town will remain unchanged and will be entrusted by Xinpu new district.
